Lecturer Teaspoon

Teaspoon currently serves the role of Lecturer in Feline Health and Nutrition Sciences. He is also actively engaged in research in such diverse fields as Sustainable Seafood-Based Diets, Ball Track Engineering, Human Neuropsychology, to name a few. Being the youngest member of Faculty, Teaspoon not only spends a considerable amount of time under the tutelage of nutrition experts at the Academy such as Breadmaster Maggie, but also participates in student affairs and advocacy given his exceptional ability to connect with students.

Teaspoon has been unique in his journey into academia compared to other esteemed members of the Academy Faculty. He arrived at the Academy when sweet momcat Nibbles gave birth to him and his siblings, The Cutensils. Teaspoon has enjoyed a special place in the hearts of the Academy Staff since his first hours at the Academy. Starting out as the smallest student in his class, he established special bonds with the human staff as he needed help with feeding and waste excretion.

Teaspoon has continued to overcome various congenital health challenges, all of which have made him into an expert at encounters of the veterinary kind. He is no stranger to medications, labs, imaging tests, or physical examinations done amidst exclaims regarding his cuteness. He imparts all of this gained wisdom on to the kittens during his Health & Wellness lectures.

Teaspoon is also a congenial colleague to other members of the Faculty. In a recent survey conducted amongst the senior Faculty members, he was found to be the most sought-after dinner companion. Whether or not this had to do with his choice of menu items is unclear.

As of December 25, 2023, Teaspoon has been appointed to the position of Lecturer at the Academy. He reports that there is much research to be done in his fields of interest before he is able to accept the responsibilities of a full professorship at the Academy. He is confident that his work in his current teaching role will have the most positive impact on the education of Kitten Academy students.
